Remember That Time We Were Stuck In The House Because of Coronavirus?

Well, it is now Day 22 of the UAE's mandatory quarantine. Spring break was moved to the first two weeks of the quaratine which I know the kids will tell you was not the most exciting break they've ever had. Most families were too afraid to do play dates which is understandable and many of their friends were not allowed to leave their house. Before businesses were forced to close for disinfecting, we ventured out to the movies, the park, and the beach. Unfortunately, now EVERYTHING is closed and strict fines are in place if anyone is caught violating the precautionary measures the UAE has put in place.

The kids are into their second week of online learning which has given them a routine that they desperately needed during this crazy time. I think the schools are doing the best they can given the circumstances. And even though the kids seem to be doing fine working from home, they would much rather be in the classroom with their friends and teachers. Schools are supposed to open back up on April 4th. But whether or not they actually do, we'll have to wait and see.
