We have spent many Christmas holidays around the world from the US to Bangladesh, to Bangladesh and New Zealand, to Morocco and Austria, to Nepal and Japan, and now the UAE. Living in practically the desert, it takes some effort to get into the holiday spirit. But we made the most of our time together during the 3 week school break and visited sites around Dubai. The kids have gotten spoiled with all the Christmas ski trips, so naturally they moaned about how much they wished we were in the snowy mountains somewhere. We couldn't give them the French Alps, so they settled for Ski Dubai instead. Even though there are only two slopes, they kids had a blast and they always have fun when they go there.
