Not The New Kids This Time

It was one of those mornings for Ember....
But a good one for Mason and Cadyn.
Starting at a new school half way through the year isn't easy for any kid.  But one of the nice things about international schools is that the majority of students are just like us - their families move around every few years.  So the kids know what it feels like to be new, not knowing anyone, and having to start all over again.  And because of this, everyone including the staff go out of their way to make the new students feel welcome.

It was hard saying good-bye to Lincoln and EFIK when we left Nepal.  But CAC has truly been helpful with ensuring a smooth transition for Mason and Cadyn.  The Irish School has done the same for Ember.  Now with the 2018/2019 school year starting, the kids feel like veterans and have taken on the role of welcoming the new students.
