Ember is 2!

Can you believe it?  2!!!  Whuh?......When?......How?  I feel like it was just yesterday when we were bringing her home from BirthCare and now she's running nonstop, feeding herself, playing pretend, and speaking French.  Sometimes I wish time would just slow down so that I can enjoy these moments a little longer.  I started a list of things that I love and will miss when they were tiny things because I know I'll forget them.  No matter how hard I try to remember every little detail of them as babies, somehow they slowly fade from my memory.  I haven't posted them yet because it's kind of ongoing.  It may never stop........

We didn't throw a party for Ember.  Actually we didn't start having parties until the kids were 3 or 4 years old.  Mainly because they didn't have any friends until then!  Anyway, we had a nice dinner at home and a variety of desserts to sample from Paul's.  Blowing out the candle was hands down the best part for Ember.  Although she kept wanting to touch the flame, surprise, surprise.  

Happy Birthday Ember!  You're a feisty one but that's one of the many reasons why we love you so much.  You have brought so much happiness into all of our lives.  We love you Sweetpea!
