Fröhliche Weihnachten!

For those who don't know, that's Merry Christmas in German.  I saw it written everywhere in Germany and Austria and had no idea what it meant until the end of our trip!

A hotdog for two.....or three!
Strolling through the Marienplatz Christmas
Market in Munich.
This Christmas we spent two weeks skiing in Saalbach, Austria.  It had been almost 2 years since we took the kids skiing, but they picked it right back up like they hadn't taken any time off.  Skiing is definitely their favorite sport which is great because it's such a fun family activity.  I can't wait until Ember can start ski school!

It was an unusually warm Christmas so there wasn't a ton
of snow.  But the scenery was still breathtaking.
Mason can get down the mountain a lot
faster than his mom!  He loves doing little
jumps!
The next Lindsey Vonn????
1st place!
Taking a hot chocolate break at the top of the mountain.

3rd place!

Can you guess what I'm eating?
Their favorite gingerbread house so far
complete with minions!
Heading home.......
