Bienvenue Au Maroc!

After a year of living Stateside for language training, we have finally made it to Morocco!  First impressions:

Open space, cleaner air, less people, less traffic, no staring, and a beautiful coastline right by our house!  In other words, the complete opposite of our last post.  Complete opposite.

Our house seriously feels like a mansion after living in a small 2 bedroom apartment for a year.  The kids each have their own bedroom and play area which they absolutely love!  It's located in an older part of Rabat, but it's quieter and it has more character than the other neighborhoods, in my opinion.

I know there are pros and cons to every post.  But honestly, I think we'll be very happy here.  Robbie and I have lived in mud huts in the villages of a tiny West African country.  And our last post was voted "the world's worst city to live in" two years in a row.  The fact that we have more freedom to move around and explore every corner of Morocco makes this seem like the perfect home for us for the next two years.
