Wide Open Spaces
| The start of our bike ride. |
Since moving to Dhaka a little over a year ago, the kids haven't complained about missing anything back in the U.S. except for family and friends of course. One thing they have told us they missed though is bike riding. The streets of Dhaka, even in our neighborhood, are no where near bike friendly. And although there are a few local parks very close by, they do not allow bikes.
| There's something missing here.........oh yeah, cars and people! |
However, there is an area of Dhaka called Bashundara where Robbie has been biking on his own and with Mason. Part of the roads can be pretty bumpy so we weren't sure if Cadyn could handle it which is why we never took her in the first place. But once again she proved us wrong. Cadyn pedaled her little heart out and kept up with everyone without any problems.

The kids have an absolute blast and are always begging us to let them bike "just 5 more minutes" even after a 2-hour bike ride! It's nice to know we can now add a little more variety into our weekend routine here!
