Bhawal National Park

Holy crap!  Trees!!!

Today we braved the traffic and the possibility that our car would die on us and drove to Bhawal National Park with another family.  It's about 38 km from Dhaka, but of course with traffic, it took us two hours to get there.  However, once there it was nice to be among trees and hiking trails.  The kids were able to burn some energy running, canoeing, horseback riding, and playing soccer.  Thankfully, the drive back to Dhaka only took an hour.

Throwing rocks out into a dry rice paddy provides at least
an hour of entertainment.

Yes, I still wear the dorky sun hat.

There was no shortage of spectators anywhere we went.

Cadyn's favorite part of the trip.  Somehow she
managed to get in 3 extra rides.

The horses actually looked like they were being well
taken care of.
