Mason has thoroughly enjoyed being a Cub Scout since he first joined a couple of months ago. He has made some great friends and loves learning all about being a good Cub Scout.
Every week parents take turns leading the meetings and this time was Robbie's turn. The theme for the day was teamwork. And what better way to demonstrate the importance of teamwork than by building a teepee! All it took was some bamboo poles, rope, cloth, and a little sweat.

Each boy was responsible for their own bamboo pole, so it really made them feel like they were an important part of the whole process. They each also had to take turns tying the rope around the top to secure the poles together.

The boys are actually paying attention! So far, so good.

Put some muscle into it boys!

A scribble here and a doodle there.....
And voila! A one-of-a-kind, Cub Scout Tigers made teepee. The boys did an excellent job of listening and working together as a team. And Robbie did a fantastic job leading his very first Cub Scouts meeting.

The finished product! Nice job Cub Scouts!
