First Halloween in Dhaka

Considering how hot and humid it was, it certainly didn't feel like Halloween.  But when there's candy involved, I guess it doesn't matter.  Since Bangladeshis don't celebrate Halloween, we didn't get to go house-to-house for trick-or-treating.  Although I've heard that in the past, DAWC organized trick-or-treating with rickshaws!  How cool is that?!?!  I'm hoping we get to do that next year.  Anyway, this year the Embassy hosted an afternoon of trick-or-treating and fun games for the kids.  I thought everyone did an amazing job of decorating their office doors and the hallways with Halloween decorations.  Mason and Cadyn brought home tons of candy which they will be sharing with their Mom and Dad, of course:)

The kids also got to go to a Halloween carnival held at AISD.  They played lots of cool games for candy and experienced their first haunted house.

Since cameras are not allowed in the Embassy, I don't have any photos to share from that event.  But here are some from the AISD Halloween carnival.

I know.  My costume isn't very original.  Can
you guess what Robbie is supposed to be?

The school courtyard looked very festive with all the
Halloween decor!
