First girlfriend

A gift from Yasmin

Mason: "Mommy, Yasmin said I'm her boyfriend now."

Mom: "Oh really?  How did that happen?  I thought she already had a boyfriend."

Mason: "Well, she broke up with Max and then told me I'm her new boyfriend.  So Max got a new girlfriend.  Her name is Elsa." (see update below)

Mom: "So what does it mean to break up with someone?"

Mason:  "I don't know."

Mom: "What do you think it means to be boyfriend/girlfriend?"

Mason: "I don't know.  But Yasmin says we have to get married.  But I told her that when we're bigger and if we meet up again, then we can get married.  You know, maybe when we're in college."

Mom: "Oh, in college, huh?  Well, I think it's very smart of you to not rush into anything.  Yasmin is a very lucky girl."

Mason: "Yeah, I know."

Update: After a week long romance, Max and Elsa have decided to part ways.  The split was amicable and they remain good friends. Max is now happily dating Chloe.
