Clear the way, here comes Mason!
Ski season is coming to a close, but we managed to squeeze in one more day at Whitetail. Going midweek is definitely the way to go because the slopes are pretty much empty and you have the mountain all to yourself. Mason took another lesson but wanted to end it early so that he could hit the slopes with Mom and Dad instead. We could tell that he was getting tired of taking orders from his instructor when he started to do his own thing...."Okay Mason, go through the tunnel and come straight to me...Okay Mason, come to me...Mason come to me...No Mason, not the ramp! Come to me! Mason! Mason!" Yes, we have a little daredevil. We've discovered that his favorite is the terrain park...rails, tunnels, ramps...he loves 'em all. Notice in the video how Mason completely ignores Dad's request to stop and just heads down the trail on his own....Dad never did catch up to the speed demon.
To make it more fun, we played follow the leader and of course, Mason leads us straight into the terrain park. Mom banged up her knee pretty good going through the tunnel - the things we do for our kids. As much as we love watching him have fun, we do have little panic attacks every time he flies right past us and bombs down the hill at 25 mph screaming, "Woohoo! This is fun! Ha ha ha ha!".
