Lewes Beach, DE

The Blanchard clan headed to Lewes Beach for a week of sun, sand, bike rides, and pirate adventures. Steps away from the beach and Cape Henlopen State Park...it couldn't get any better.



The kids had a great time swimming in the ocean....before we saw the shark, that is. But they eventually got over it and jumped right back in.



This picture was taken shortly after Cadyn got knocked down by a huge wave. She lost her new doll in the process which she was not happy about.



This is one of the lookout towers at Cape Henlopen State Park. The trail in the park was perfect for all of us to go bike riding together. Even Cadyn got the chance to take in the beautiful scenery from her own bike seat.



Aaaargh! Don't mess with this pirate, matey! Mason and Claire got to take part in a pirate adventure...searching for treasure in the sea, fighting off bad pirates with water cannons, and limbo dancing. They really thought they were hanging out with real life pirates!
