Swim, Kick, Hike
Classes may be over for me, but summer camp for the kids have officially begun! Cadyn is still too young for most of the camps, but we managed to sign her up for Waterbabies swim classes which she absolutely loves! She especially enjoys jumping off the side of the pool. Mason spends his days in swim class and soccer and will soon be starting nature camp.
Mason basically taught himself to swim under water, so he caught on very quickly in his first swim lesson - he definitely gets this talent from his dad. Mama was never a waterbaby!
Mason also spends two hours every hot, 105 degree weather morning at soccer camp with his British instructors. And yes, I officially feel like a soccer mom. The accent throws him off sometimes and the term futbol doesn't make sense to him at all. He's constantly correcting them...."This is soccer, not football silly!". Nature camp a.k.a. CSI (Critter Scene Investigation) starts in a few weeks and he'll be joined by his cousin, Claire. We're not sure what exactly he'll be doing there, but it will definitely involve bugs, woodland creatures, dirt, and nature hikes.
