Dino hunting & naked bum
There was a time when the only thing that interested Mason was trains, trains, and more trains, particularly Thomas the Train. He still loves his trains, but now all he talks about is dinosaurs. He can name more dinosaurs than his mommy and daddy. He even corrects grown ups and other kids when they don't say the right name - we've witnessed this at the playground on many occasions. So one day when we were hiking around on the Patuxent Trail, Mason decided to take us on a dino hunt. He didn't see any but claimed he could hear them, and he even found a "dinosaur nest". He took big rocks and laid them in the "nest" and pretended they were dinosaur eggs. Mason has quite an imagination - it's definitely entertaining for us!
The first week or so that Cadyn started crawling, she really didn't crawl around very much. I guess you could say she was a little lazy:) But those days are long gone - she is now all over the place and it's amazing how fast she can move. We can usually tell where she is without even looking because her brother will start whining or screaming. This usually means she is approaching his "territory" or taking one his toys. Mason is very good about taking care of his little sis and sharing toys with her. But there are times when he doesn't feel like sharing, so we're still working on it.
It's hard to believe, but Cadyn will be a year old soon. She just started to say "hi" and "uh oh" which only brings her closer to saying things like, "No!", "Mine!" or "I don't want to!". Oh boy......
