Pagi!
Well, we are finally back from our vacation in Malaysia. The trip was better than we had imagined but we're happy to be back home with the kids. This trip would not have been possible without the help of Sov, Mike, Emily, Sara, and Annmarie. We truly appreciate them taking such good care of Mason and Cadyn. It was tough being away from them for that long but we knew they were in good hands. Daily emails, phone calls, and pictures made it all better too.
The first week of our trip was packed with a climb up to Mt. Kinabalu and scuba diving around Sipidan Island in Borneo. It was absolutely breathtaking. Kinabalu is the highest mountain in South Asia standing at 13,500 ft and still growing. It's considered one the easiest mountains to climb but it was anything but that! The views at the top made it all worthwhile. The diving was awesome - I got to see my sea turtles and Robbie got to see his sharks. The last part of our trip was spent sight seeing in Kuala Lumpur. We had originally planned to see the Cameron Highlands but all the bus tickets sold out. We took that as a sign and were glad to be able to just relax our last few days.
Coming back from the trip we feel refreshed and ready to get back into changing dirty diapers and dealing with temper tantrums. We've already started discussions on where to escape to next year:)
